Our Year 11 students spent a total of ten days at the Leadership and Citizen Training School (Sea School), Apapa, where they had an intensive Leadership Training course as part of their preparation for the role of Leadership in the school.
The training encompassed the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of learning. It was also very student centred as the students were basically in charge of their own learning, even though they were supervised by the Sea School facilitators.
Part of the activities undertaken by our students were preparing and presenting a newscast, a cooking competition, endurance training and public speaking.
We all look forward to an exciting edition for next year.
